Welcome to the Sigma Omicron Omega Chapter website, and thank you for visiting!

Since our chartering on May 19, 1990, our chapter has proudly upheld Alpha Kappa Alpha’s legacy of service across the beautiful Emerald Coast. I am honored to serve as the 13th President of this dynamic and dedicated sisterhood. Those who came before us laid a foundation of excellence that continues to guide our work today.

Our chapter theme, “Sisterhood Reflections: Service, Advocacy, Legacy,” reminds us of our commitment to serve, uplift, and leave a meaningful impact in our local communities. From scholarships and youth programs to our signature Prom Dress Giveaway and Pink Ice Gala, Sigma Omicron Omega continues to be a beacon of service throughout Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa Counties.

As part of more than 1,000 international chapters, we proudly support the 2022–2026 administration’s vision of "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood" through the six international program initiatives.
